Rose Blood Music Festival is a femme-fronted music festival founded by Natalia Stardust in 2025. In it’s first year, it sold out with over 500 people showing up.
Divinity Film Festival, founded by filmmaker Erp, is the sister festival to Rose Blood. The two met during the planning of Rose Blood’s first edition, when Erp approached Natalia to produce a documentary about the festival and the broader presence of women in the Bay Area music scene. This doc will be premiered at Divinity in 2026.
Natalia Stardust is a Bay Area native and lifelong musician. She leads the band Stardust and has been active in the local music community for years. Erp is a San Francisco-based filmmaker and musician, and is also a member of the band Misandrist.
After the first Rose Blood Festival drew a strong response, the two observed a growing need for creative spaces dedicated to women and gender-diverse artists. They decided to expand into other art forms where similar gaps exist—specifically, independent film.
Divinity Film Festival was created as a direct response to that need. It aims to support and showcase filmmakers from underrepresented backgrounds, with a focus on work by women and gender-diverse creators. Both founders bring years of experience in male-dominated industries, and their goal is to create a platform where emerging voices in film can be seen, heard, and taken seriously.
